The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (The Similarity and Influence of the Spanish Language on the Arabic Language), delivered by the Assistant Lecturer at the Center, Hadeel Kazim Fahd, in the presence of a number of instructors and employees of the Center. The workshop aimed to study the influence of the Arabic language on the Spanish language and its impact on culture and science. The workshop covered several topics, the first of which dealt with the linguistic influence and the entry of Arabic words into the Spanish language, while the second axis highlighted the cultural influence of the Arabic language on Spanish culture, while the third axis was dedicated to the scientific influence of Arabic on Spanish. Fahd pointed out that the Spanish language was influenced by the Arabic language during the period of Islamic rule in Andalusia, which led to the entry of many Arabic words into the Spanish language in various fields.<\/span><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
