The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and the Dean of the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, received a delegation from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, to discuss the latest developments in the preparations for the Ninth International Scientific Conference for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, scheduled to start its activities next August.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The two parties discussed topics related to the conference that serve all scientific and service aspects at the level of Iraq.<\/span>
\nDr. Insaf confirmed that the conference will have a developmental goal by relying on the state’s capabilities through planning and benefiting from other experiences, and coming up with studies that contribute to planning and building, after forming a committee to follow up on scientific projects and their practical stages of completion, especially those related to sustainability in scientific research and embodying it on the ground with the support of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, coinciding with the opening of a branch of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in Baghdad.<\/span><\/h4>\n

For his part, the head of the conference communication committee, Dr. Alwan, confirmed that coordination has been made with most of the formations to present their scientific research with a focus on the sustainability aspect of their research.<\/span><\/h4>\n

For his part, the delegation of the shrine stressed the importance of cooperation with the University of Baghdad and benefiting from the strengths between the two sides regarding applied scientific and practical topics, and at all levels geographically, historically, socially and others.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is noteworthy that the President of the University of Baghdad confirmed that the mother university has opened the door to scientific cooperation with everyone and in partnership with distinguished academics, especially after a number of the university’s formations entered the British Times classification.<\/span><\/h4>\n
